Community Initiatives

We are keen to interact with related community projects and consider those which encourage young people to take an active role in the Community, those which help improve the quality of community life including healthy living, crime reduction and improvements in leisure activities.

Our aim is to support community based initiatives by sponsorship or providing specialist advice and assistance. We recently supported the Secondary School Challenge run by the Education Business Partnership in conjunction with Your Homes Newcastle (YHN). Some 60 young people attended the event with the aim of gaining an insight into the construction business by designing a model of a property with help from experts.

Our Chairman Ray Gilbert and other staff frequently get involved with projects, having recently spent a rewarding 2 days with the youngsters.
